Achla

Achla is a pebbled beach in the north-eastern part of the island, just 10km away from Chora. Considered among the best secluded beaches in Andros, Achla has crystal blue green waters and a natural biotope with plane trees at its end. It is the perfect place for unwinding, away from crowds and well-protected by winds, with no tourist facilities.

Piso Limnionas

This spectacular sandy beach, situated about 7km from the Andros port Gavrio, is mostly famous for its great sunset views. Piso Limnionas offers absolutely no facilities and shade, but its transparent crystal waters and amazing location are ideal for tranquillity and isolation.

Vitali

Among the top secluded beaches in Andros is also Vitali, a quiet and private cove with shiny pebbles at the north eastern side of the island. Though it is not easily accessed, due to the narrow dirt track, its rocky landscape and crystalline waters should not be missed. Regarding tourist facilities, there is a tavern operating in summer and some umbrellas and sun loungers for rent.

Zorkos

Zorkos is an untouched shore at the north of Andros with golden sand and tranquil environment. Though frequently affected by strong winds, Zorkos beach is generally quiet and relaxing. It is not organized and has only one tavern, which opens only in summer.

Mikri and Megali Peza

Near Zorkos are two other northern secluded beaches of extraordinary beauty and serene setting, Mikri and Megali Peza. They lay next to each other and are ideal for snorkelling. Megali Peza is a sandy beach, often affected by “meltemia” winds, with no facilities. Mikri Peza, on the other hand, has soft pebbles and is surrounded by rock formations, making shade for an ideal private escape.
